The best online poker players

You only have to look at Dan Bilzerian’s Instagram to see that there is a lot of money to be made in poker. The venture capitalist/poker player has forged out a very successful career for himself both on and off the table.

The money one can make from poker is frightening but what is more surprising is the amount of money you can win from a successful online poker career. Below are some of the best.

Phil Ivey

Ivey is widely regarded as the greatest poker player of his generation. On land-based tables he has scooped nine World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and one World Poker Tour title but “The Phenom” is just as prolific online.

In total the Finn has taken $11,315,549 from online rooms.

Phil Galfond

Although Galfond has played on the tour he is rarely seen on it nowadays but when you have $10,035, 683 in online profits what does it matter?

Di Dang

Di, alongside his brother Hac, learnt the poker ropes in college, as you do. Originally starting with a shared bankroll, the brothers started squashing cash games, before having enough bank to go it alone.

Dang is an extremely rare sight at live poker tables but when he is witnessed at the table he has proven to be a dab hand, in Macao, 2012, he won a cool $500,000.

To date, Dang has $7,411,127 in profit.
